Little Girl's Farmhouse Bedroom Reveal
Is it bad that my favorite room in our new house is a kid room? We just finished up Brooklyn’s room and I’m so excited to show it to you today. B is my oldest daughter. She loves art and barbies and ponies, ALL the girly things. She’s my little artist, the princess of the family.
I was so excited to create a room for her that was screamed “Brooklyn”. It needed to be feminine and soft, and have just enough pink (I’m sure she would have made everything pink if I didn’t have a say in the matter!). Since we’ve spent the past few years in a rental, she’s hasn't had her own room for almost five years! She’s been moved around a lot, from playrooms to boy rooms, just because we didn’t have a perfect space just for her. I’m so excited for her to have a place that’s her own. Needless to say, she absolutely loves it. I always peek into her room while she’s reading on her cute bean bag, or crafting away at her desk. She loves to snuggle with Harlow on her bed and read her books and I DIE.
If you don’t remember, here’s the mood board that we started with, and we ended up getting pretty close! I’ll go into all the specific products below.
And here it is! A few changes from the original board: we went with a nice light grey for the walls. It pairs so well with the pink! We also got rid of the fur chair - a little too boho for my sweet girl! So we ended up with this ghost chair, and I think it works so well. The wallpaper… OMG so worth it. It’s my favorite part of the room! It's a mural that can cover a HUGE wall OR they will customize it and make you a listing based on what you need! Literally I saw it in my very first Pinterest search and it's even more stunning in person! And the shop owner is the sweetest- so it's really just a win all around! You can purchase that here!
Also, Beddy's - you guys, if you haven't read my last post about Beddy's, don't miss it. It's my new favorite thing, and all the sudden bed making became the easiest part of our day. I didn't know it was possible. Cchec out all their styles in the Beddy's Store!
Also worth mentioning - that sign from House on 77th is my favorite part of the room. It’s so Brooklyn it’s not even funny. I really needed something that would fill up the space, and this was the perfect thing. If you don’t know Jess, check out her shop! It’s amazing.
And there you have it! Brooklyn’s Little Chic Room. It’s feminine and soft, exactly like my sweet B.

Could you please share the color / brand of carpeting? My daughters’ rooms will be remodeled and I want a neutral pleasant color that goes with anything and yours appears to do just that! Is it more of a gray or medium tan? Thanks in advance :)
